COVID-19 support

Due to the global coronavirus pandemic and changes to national guidance the way in which you access primary care is changing. Please see below for the most up to date information on how to access primary healthcare and our services depending on whether you have coronavirus symptoms or not.

We appreciate that there will be significant disruption to our services over the course of the coming months but all measures are being put in place and constantly reviewed to ensure that we can continue to serve patients during times of increased pressure and staff shortages.

Guidance for patients and households with possible coronavirus infection

The most common symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19) as advised of recent could be;

For most people, coronavirus (COVID-19) will be a mild illness. If you suspect you have coronavirus symptoms, however mild, stay at home for 7 days from when your symptoms started.

If you live with someone who has symptoms you’ll need to stay at home for 14 days from the first day the person started having symptoms.

Do not come into the GP practice or walk in centre, and do not go to the pharmacy or hospital. You do not need to contact 111 to tell them you’re staying at home.

Anyone who has symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19) can ask for a free antigen test to check if they have the virus. If you would like to ask for a test, please click here.

Patient services

If you do not have coronavirus symptoms but would like an appointment with a health professional at any of our practices please call the practice on 0300 130 3333, or log into our online services.

From immediate effect we are offering an appointment service to improve wait times and help reduce risk to our patients and staff members.

If you would like to attend our Walk in Service please call us on 0333 321 0946 to book a same day appointment which may be via telephone or web consultation if appropriate.

We are also offering telephone consultations for our registered patients who should call our patient booking line on 0300 130 3333 to arrange their appointment.

We will be managing as many appointments as possible remotely, whether by phone, online or video consultation. We will examine you physically if necessary. If you develop coronavirus symptoms in the seven days leading up to your face to face appointment, please call and cancel as we will not be able to see you in the surgery whilst symptomatic. For any urgent nursing appointments which require a face to face appointment please call us and we will help to manage your query.


You can now request all repeat prescriptions online, by email or telephone. For any medical sick note requests, we will assess you on the telephone and post it out to you. If you have been told to self-isolate because of coronavirus and you need a note for your employer, please click here.
